Crystal Palace Win Conferance League

Yesterday, Crystal Palace beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0 to win the UEFA Conference League at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany.

Jean-Phillippe Mateta got the only goal of the game in the 50th minute after scoring the rebound from Adam Wharton’s shot.

With Crystal Palace winning the Conference League they will now get Europa League but without their manager Oliver Glasner as he is set to leave Crystal Palace.

Oliver Glasner has now won The Eagles the FA Cup last season and now the Conference League this season.

Crystal Palace are now the second team to win a European competition with Aston Villa winning the Europa League earlier on and now depending on the game between Arsenal and PSG their could be a scenario with all three European compitition being won by an English team.

Also due to Crystal Palace now getting Europa League next season and since they finished 15th this season and not already getting Europe they make them the ninth team to get European football in the Premier League.

Even with last season losing key players including Eberechi Eze and being able to carry on their success hopefully they will be able to carry such progress now with a different manager.
