PSG defeat Premier League champions Arsenal in the Champions League Final on penalties.

Early on in the 5th minute of the game Kai Havertz scored for Arsenal and it took until the 64th minute for Ousmane Dembele to score from the spot after Kvaratskhelia was brought down in the box. Then after a decision in extra time between Nuno Mendes and Madueke not being a penalty it went to penalties with the first penalties going in though Eberechi Eze misses the second putting it off target.

But going into the third lot of penalties with PSG up by one Nuno Mendes misses due to a great save from Raya. After that all players score their penalties until the last penalty before sudden death resulted in Gabriel taking the last penalty and putting it high over the crossbar meaning PSG won the Champions League.

This means that Luis Enrique has won the Champions League with PSG twice in a row now while Arsenal in their history are still yet to win it.

Looking from the stats of the game PSG had a massive 72% possession with Arsenal sitting back with only 28% possession and 14 less shots than PSG.

Both teams had won their nations league with Arsenal winning theirs for the first time since 2004 though PSG winning their 5th in a row from their 14 titles in total.

Though Arsenal did lose the Champions League Final they will be coming out of this season with a Premier League title, a huge achievement for the club and their players will now be trying to impress the club in the World Cup.

PSG have done the double winning their league and the Champions League assuring another great season for Luis Enrique and his team.
